Fleet management

As you’d expect with a fleet as large as ours, it takes a lot of organisation. Ensuring our vehicles comply with DVSA guidelines is vital and so they carry out stringent testing and maintenance reviews of every vehicle in our fleet. They also organise the commissioning and de-commissioning of vehicles as and when our fleet size changes due to seasonal variations. You’d be working as part of a 24/7 support team with the highest profile in the business.

Meet our Commercial Manager, Jessica

I’ve worked here since September 2014 and no two days are ever the same. My job involves working on commercial and solution designs for a variety of operational customers. We have exciting growth aspirations as a company and I enjoy being involved in developing opportunities for new and existing customers. I have found everyone here extremely helpful and we genuinely support and encourage people to develop themselves. I am currently working on my CIMA qualification and have completed 14 of the 16 exams.

Meet our Fleet Project & Asset Manager, Simon

I started working here in 2007 as a driver and have worked in a variety of operational roles including warehouse, operations and shift manager. I was always interested in working in the Fleet department and I am proud to be part of the team that is responsible for keeping our famous trucks and trailers looking smart and on the move. Working in Fleet is very varied and I am currently looking to complete my ADR training to support our specialist work on fuel tankers.

Meet Warehouse Operative, Aurelia

I started working here in August 2016 as a cleaner and then progressed to work in the warehouse moving pallets. Now I have been trained as a Fork Lift Truck driver which I really like. This is the best place I have worked as it is great to have the opportunity to learn new things. I aspire to be a Trainer in the future and I’m currently developing my administration skills to help with that.

I get a lot of job satisfaction working with customers and helping them to solve challenges. No two days are every the same and you can’t always plan for what needs to be done in a short timescale. Teamwork is key to our success and we work really well together, always supporting and encouraging one another to do our best.
