Within the network offering Eddie Stobart operates highbay automated warehousing linked to the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to handle pallet movements from receipt at goods in through to final storage locations within the warehouse. This system allows for pallets to be stored in locations within set criteria for product grouping, temperature, and FIFO conditions. The system drives the cranes to complete housekeeping duties during down time, ensuring the stock is positioned at its optimum location at all times.

Tracked Technology

Utilising bar codes and pallet identifiers to track and trace pallet movements across the sites we are able to conduct full reports via the WMS of all pallet movements from receipt through to dispatch. This allows instant traceability should any queries be raised against a product movement.

We use bar codes and pallet identifiers to trace pallet movements right through the warehousing process

Reduced Labour Costs
