Category C and C+E Licence Training
Eddie Stobart is synonymous with high quality and excellence. We have always trained our drivers to the highest standards and guarantee an interview on completion of your Category C+E licence.
We pride ourselves on our training facilities and have invested significantly in our training academy, which is the only one of its kind in the industry. We want to share this expertise more widely, drive up the standards and improve the image of LGV drivers.
Meet our Examiner
We have our own DVSA delegated examiner who tests our future drivers in-house without long delays for test dates. Learners will be given a taste of what it’s like to drive for us in our newly branded Scania trucks.
Glen Moule has been in the haulage industry for over 30 years, 20 years of them as a driver trainer and examiner. He was with the Driving Standards Agency for over 10 years performing driving tests on cars, bikes, trucks and buses.
Our Northern driving school is conveniently located near Warrington, Cheshire with excellent transport links and affordable accommodation for the duration of the week-long courses.
And in January 2018 we opened our Midlands driving school located centrally in Crick, Northamptonshire.
The only pre-requisites are that you must have held a full Category B licence (car) for at least two years and have applied for your provisional LGV licence.
A Category C licence enables you to drive rigid vehicles and a Category C+E licence to drive an articulated vehicle with trailer.
