Our graduate programme

Since joining Eddie Stobart I have been welcomed into the workforce and built a strong network of colleagues. My initial communications project led me to learn more about our core business and how all our acquisitions contribute to the overall success of ESL, which in turn has greatly increased my awareness of the organisation. This has provided a solid foundation to continue developing my career further and I look forward to the challenges I’ll meet in the rest of my placement.

My first impressions of ESL were made by the great people it employs (who I believe are this organisation’s greatest asset). On my first day I felt welcomed, supported and empowered and that has continued throughout the past months. The staff induction was an important introduction to the company that enabled me to find out more about the history and heritage of the business but also what is expected of colleagues through the company’s values. These values are not just empty words, as I have seen them demonstrated by my colleagues across the business each day.
