The aluminium sheets are imported by Novelis from Germany to the UK. The material arrives at Eddie Stobart’s 24-hour rail connected warehouse at Widnes Port.

Around 10,000 tonnes of aluminium coil are transported to the Warrington Hawleys Lane warehouse via train every month.

Raw material is spun into empty aluminium cans at Eddie Stobart’s Crown Packaging centres in Botcherby, Carlisle and Braunstone, Leicester. Approximately 5 million Coca-Cola cans are spun every day. Coca-Cola receives a full contract packaging process management solution: from the receipt of raw materials through to storage and distribution.
