Speedy Freight Bournemouth was recently contacted by the Design & Technology Department at Poole Grammar School for help shipping a very delicate laser, that needed to be repaired in Neath. Without the laser, activities in the D&T Department were severely affected at a key time of year.
Mr Dallimore, the Department Head could not risk normal shipping options due to the delicate nature of the broken part, so contacted Speedy Freight.
General Manager, Steve Morris, who is also a school governor, said he was fully aware of the strain on school finances and being a parent of boys both past and present at Poole Grammar School was happy to help.
Speedy Freight arranged a dedicated van to collect the laser, deliver it to Neath and collect and return it a week later.
Mr Dallimore was delighted and told us that “Speedy Freight’s service was faultless, in terms of speed of delivery, the care taken during transport and keeping me updated as to where the laser was in transit”.
Steve Morris said, “This is the sort of deliver we carry out daily, and it was a pleasure to help one of our local schools”
