It was a night to remember at The Finance Awards North West, with the Stobart Finance Team taking home two prestigious awards after being successfully shortlisted for five.
The Finance Awards North West celebrate the outstanding achievements of businesses and individuals within the North West finance community.
Marianne Rimmer, Credit Manager, won Finance Team Player of the Year, for her leadership and mentoring of the Credit Control Team and Ben Gibson, Operations Accountant, won Rising Star of the Year Part-Qualified category. Ben successfully secured a permanent role as a Graduate Trainee following a very impressive placement year during his degree in Management, Transport and Logistics.
The team were successfully shortlisted for five awards in total, with Alexander Hoggard, Finance Business Partner, shortlisted in the Finance Business Partner of the Year category, Kirsty Grogan, Senior Operations Accountant, shortlisted in the Rising Star of the Year Qualified Category, and the team successfully shortlisted within the Finance Team of the Category. Competition was extremely fierce, and the standard of entry was exceptionally high.
