Logistics UK Awards have this week revealed the shortlist for the prestigious Logistics Awards 2024, with Stobart shortlisted within Leader of the Year and Road Transport Operator of the Year categories. The Awards recognise the achievement of businesses and individuals from across the Logistics Sector.
Logistics Leader of the Year – Neil Rowbotham –
This is fantastic recognition for Neil who has undoubtedly gone above and beyond to make a real difference within Stobart and indeed the wider logistics sector. Two magnificent examples of Neil’s unique leadership were put forward in our entry for the awards.
Firstly Neil’s incredible achievement in securing and delivering the largest and most complex Stobart contract of the last five decades, the Morrisons Contract– “Go-Live”.
Secondly, Neil’s establishment of the Stobart Driving School demonstrating his passion for Logistics leading an initiative to help combat the recent UK driver shortage which was not only impacting on the Stobart business but also the long term stability of the industry
Road Transport Operator of the Year- Eventor –
Led by MD David Simpson, 2024 has seen a transformation of the Eventor business with ambitious growth and expansion plans successfully implemented across the business.

Logistics UK’s Board, consisting of representatives from some of the UK’s most influential logistics businesses, will now complete the final round of independent judging before winners are announced at this year’s awards presentation event. This will take place at a gala celebration at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London on the evening of Thursday 12 December 2024.
