Sophie Jenkins of Stobart has achieved a significant accomplishment by winning the highly esteemed Finance Controller of the Year Award at the esteemed North West Finance Awards. The event proved to be an unforgettable evening for the Stobart Finance Team, as they were not only shortlisted for three categories but also emerged victorious in one of them.
The Finance Awards North West serve as a platform to honour the exceptional achievements of both businesses and individuals within the finance community of the North West region. Sophie Jenkins’ remarkable leadership and mentorship within her team earned her the distinguished title of Finance Controller of the Year. In addition to Sophie’s well-deserved recognition, the Stobart Finance Team received further accolades by securing shortlisted positions in two other categories. Georgia Woodhouse, serving as the Operational Accountant, was shortlisted in the Rising Star of the Year Part-Qualified category, while the Stobart Finance Team, as a whole, was successfully shortlisted in the Finance Team of the Year category.
